  1. I appreciate cmwtr. I am glad there is a talk radio that I can listen too that relates to me as a christian military wife.

Let me say that the last show was the catalyst for me being obedient to God. He had been dealing with me to do something for weeks (like you) and after listening to the show, God gave me the courage to do it! Thank you for listening to God's voice.

I too am a home-schooling mom. We home-school our three younger children. We home-schooled our older son (now in college) for two years and then put him in public school ONLY because the birth of our younger children was a great draw on me. We are now in our third year of home-schooling our younger children (3rd, 1st, Pre-K) and though it is hard, (really hard some days) the rewards are monumental.

We are new to the army, married for 14 years come this September and boyfriend and girlfriend for 16 years. Thanks for the great info on the free children's camp. I would like to know how to get into the network of military wives. So far I've only befriended on (great friend), but we both feel a little ostracized. We were not allowed to live on post so we really don't have a connection with the wives too much. Any advice you can give is appreciated.

On the subject of who we are. We are children of God. Who we are defines what we do (Ravi Zacarias, Christian Apologist) Since we are children of God everything we DO begins with being a child of God. God gives us gifts and talents to glorify him and bring others to him. That's the reason he created us. I know that since he has given me the gift of song and dance, this is what I will always do as he gives me ability. Whether it is doing it myself, or teaching it. Doing what God has given me the gift to do, defines who I am. I am a worshiper! So now and after children are grown, this is what I will do, worship Him.

On the subject of speaking in tongues, this is a wonderful gift that God gives us to talk to him. It edifies us and allows our spirit to communicate to Him. Continue seeking God about this, "blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled."

    God Bless you me sister,

    Gina
